As an apprentice, you will work year-round for electrical contractors and attend classroom sessions during the academic year. As you learn by doing, you are paid directly by the contractor with whom you are employed. While progressing through the training, you receive guaranteed promotion and pay raises.
The mission of the North Alabama Electrical Joint Apprenticeship Committee is to educate the members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (Local Union 558) and National Electrical Contractors Association (Gulf Coast Chapter); insuring and providing the Electrical Industry with the most highly trained and highly skilled work force possible.
